[Insomnia (Redux)]

Well, it's different, I can't really say better nor worse, since I prefer the first one for some unknown reasons ... But hey, doesn't mean this is absolute crap to me either ! :P

By the way, I just recieved a badass mic ! I'm most likely going to use it to record my nylon guitar, but if I'm feeling special, I may record some singing ... I'm on my way ! :D

Well I prefer the original, that goes without saying, this version is not too bad, but sadly, the fact that there is only one guitar line at a time is abit poor, I don't ear a bass either. And The guitar is off rythm at 1:00.

The rythm should have been changed to a faster pace or at least giving a better and more energetic (at least fitting) drum line, I also noticed that there are attrocious contrasts from a part to another, just from the intro to the following is too contrastful, the Original soundtrack to Shadow of the Collossus is very clean and swift, meanwhile your cover feels much slower than the original due to its lack of true rythm track since a drum is not enough ...

I believe this can be much better.

Thanks! I actually feel pretty similarly about it. I love the power the original one has and the tone of the instruments is absolutely amazing. I've gotten a better orchestra synth and I think I can do a much better job on the guitar parts and instrumentation in general. I recorded this about 2 years ago so I'll probably re-do it soon.

[What Is This Place?]

I can totally picture guitars playing this in my head, but the song is good as it is, a few sounds I don't really like here and there, but there are a some other parts I really enjoyed, overall not that bad !

That's quite a surprise that someone made me enjoy actual wubwub, I have to say ! Unlike some people who are most likely to simply takes a song and turns the rythm into an omnipresent kickdrum and the theme into wubby nonesense !

The mixing on this one is pretty good, MUCH better than some other songs I've encountered on the internet (even though I dont really look for dubstep much on the all mighty and glorious Internet !).

I really love the whole thing, but the contrast between the intro and what comes right after is too damn high ! I'd say too much bass, but again, my stuff is so old that I don't even know if it comes from my speakers or from your actual work ... :/
