[Shadow of Colossus Cover]

Well I prefer the original, that goes without saying, this version is not too bad, but sadly, the fact that there is only one guitar line at a time is abit poor, I don't ear a bass either. And The guitar is off rythm at 1:00.

The rythm should have been changed to a faster pace or at least giving a better and more energetic (at least fitting) drum line, I also noticed that there are attrocious contrasts from a part to another, just from the intro to the following is too contrastful, the Original soundtrack to Shadow of the Collossus is very clean and swift, meanwhile your cover feels much slower than the original due to its lack of true rythm track since a drum is not enough ...

I believe this can be much better.

Thanks! I actually feel pretty similarly about it. I love the power the original one has and the tone of the instruments is absolutely amazing. I've gotten a better orchestra synth and I think I can do a much better job on the guitar parts and instrumentation in general. I recorded this about 2 years ago so I'll probably re-do it soon.

I really love the whole thing, but the contrast between the intro and what comes right after is too damn high ! I'd say too much bass, but again, my stuff is so old that I don't even know if it comes from my speakers or from your actual work ... :/

I really love the way the drumline changes between both when the text situate yourself in and out of your little cozy haven.

Even if I am not into broadcasted combat sports (It is interesting to practice but I never really like people using it to entertain others but whatever... )wich means that I am not really found of the lyrics, but the instrumental on the other hand is really catchy. However, I can't get my finger on the bass, maybe it's that wierd-sounding echo-like thing ? Not like I have recent speakers or anything like that ! ^^'

Wow, I mean ... Damn, I mean ... Err, Shit, I mean ... FUCKIN HELL that shit was awesome !

I've really enjoyed the overall song, but especially the verses and that crescendo thingy, even the Rap part was a pleasing surprise, even though I'm not into that music style. But hell, a good performance is a good performance, right ?

Those Minecraft references got a smile out of my face, it doesn't happen quite often when I'm listening to music ! ;)

Just onelittleproblemofnothingthatisnotmuchandyet, I don't know if it comes from my speakers (shit made it through the begining of the century !), but I hear a constant buzzy sound when the guitar is strumming, especially during the "Disrupt" part... but my stuff is shit so I don't know ... :/

Not sure to understand what the german part says, if I can put my finger on it, that would be GREAT ! (I think it's, from what I've managed to translate :"used to be a simple farmer" "They suck the idiot's dick" but I really am quite unsure about the quality of my own work here ...)

its hard to say, i mix with headphones so I'm not too sure, it could just be my guitar (its the oldest most rusted out piece of shit ever) but then again your speakers sound not great so either way its to do with some serious hardware deficiency XD I'm glad you liked the track and thanks for the in depth review they can be hard to come by, it means a lot
